At the beginning of June CBA Principal Consultant Patrick Herd and Governance Consultant Debora Jackson headlined a group of presenters at regional forum in Pittsworth on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
It was the first time since COVID that a forum could be arranged, and a number of senior executives from local aged care facilities were eager to attend.
Patrick and Debora were joined by NfP Legal Consultant, Joanne O’Brien and Heath Shohnan, a partner at respected accounting firm, Bentleys’ .
The group delivered timely and insightful presentations ranging from good governance, strategic planning, financial stability, and the implications to age care facilities arising from the new 2023 Age Care Act.
